DESCRIPTION:The Dementia Coalition of Chippewa County\, along with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Chippewa County\, will hold our 3rd Annual Bridging Memories Event on Thursday\, August 22nd\, 2019\, at Kamp Kenwood on Lake Wissota. Bridging Memories is for people living with dementia and their family members. The event will be from 10:00am until 2:30pm\, and will include assorted activities for all ages including pontoon rides\, nature walks\, photo booth\, free lunch and more. The event's focus is for people living with dementia and their family members to find joy and humor in their dementia journey by bridging memories together\, and enjoy a fun and relaxing day. The day's guest speaker is Jim Adams\, author of Other Me's. Kamp Kenwood is located at 19161 79th Avenue on Lake Wissota\, Chippewa Falls\, WI. There is no cost for the event\; however\, registration is required by calling the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Chippewa County at (715) 726-7777.
