DESCRIPTION:The National Eagle Center in Wabasha\, Minnesota organizes a Winter Golden Eagle Survey every year. Last year's survey documented 147 Golden Eagles. This year the survey will be Saturday\, January 21\, 2017 at various sites throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. If you would like to be a volunteer observer during this year's count\, or just want to know more about Golden Eagles\, their distribution throughout the state\, and how to correctly identify them\, then this is the program for you. Scott Mehus\, Education Director at the Eagle Center\, gives a wonderful presentation that you won't want to miss. Registration and payment due by January 5\, 2017
