SUMMARY:Northern Saw-whet Owl Banding Training
DESCRIPTION:A two day workshop will be held at the Reserve to provide volunteers with the knowledge and training to participate in the Saw-whet Owl banding program. There are various opportunities for volunteers to find the role they are most comfortable participating in. The Owl Banding program begins the last week of September and continues into early November. Banding occurs several nights a week from 7pm until approximately 1 am. The Owl Banding Crew will be looking for new volunteers to commit to a minimum of one night a week throughout the banding season. Registration Deadline: September 10
