Featured in this concert is an original piece composed by CVYS flute musician, Wesley Peterson.  Cole Hanson, winner of the 2^nd Annual Concerto Competition will perform Concerto for Clarinet K. 622, Movement I by W.A. Mozart. This concert is free and open to the public.

The mission of the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony is to provide a unique opportunity for area youth to develop and showcase their artistry in the symphonic tradition while enhancing their lives and the cultural environment of the communities in which they live.  The auditioned group is made up of more than 65 musicians in 7^th-12^th grade from the broader Chippewa Valley.
