How can you tell a hard maple from a soft one? Are popple, poplar, and aspen the same thing? Is there a difference between a red pine and a Norway pine? BCR naturalist Jim Schwiebert will answer these and other tree questions as you take a short hike around the Reserve to look at the unique characteristics of these and other tree species and learn some easy ways to remember how to identify them.
